Instructor: Margaret Betaudier has toured the United States in various tournaments, and has been an avid chess player and instructor for the past 25+ years. Margaret welcomes newcomers who have always wondered if they could learn to play chess successfully! She has taught for numerous college programs before relocating from New York. Description: It's Your Move! Join this unforgettable journey into the world of chess. Explore the meaning, history, and reasoning behind chess moves and pieces. Gain the confidence to compete by learning how to correctly move chess pieces around the board. Learning chess develops patience, aids in better problem-solving, and develops planning skills.
