Instructor: Arthur Turfa is a published poet/writer with a half-dozen poetry books, one literary fiction novel, and one short story collection. He has 25 years of teaching experience on secondary and post-secondary levels and is head of the South Carolina Writers Association Poetry Chapter. Description: Each class will feature explications of 2-4 poems depending on length. There will be an introductory session of poetic style and movements. Some poems and poets will be known, some not. Poems not originally in English will be offered in translation.
