In 1965, a single mom of two young boys sought a way to support herself and her family and had the idea of opening a restaurant. That woman's name was Ruth Fertal. Against the advice of her banker, her lawyer, her friends and family, she mortgaged her home and bought an old closed-up restaurant building for $18,000. It was called the Chris Steakhouse. Ruth knew how to cook a good steak and invented a grill that kept the steaks sizzling from kitchen to table. Her steaks were not only famous in her hometown of New Orleans, but they became famous all across the country. Today one may find Ruth's Chris Steakhouses in 21 countries and it is the largest dining company in the world. Join us for a gourmet dinner and you will see why. Please bring CASH!
