All ages welcome for our trip to the Golden Dragon Parade the crowning highlight of the Chinese New Year celebration in Southern California. With a rich history spanning over a century, it draws more than 80,000 spectators lining the parade route, while thousands more watch the event via broadcast. The parade showcases a vibrant procession featuring government officials, celebrities, and dignitaries, alongside numerous high school bands, drill teams, dragon and lion dancers, and a diverse array of performers. The parade historically coincides with a free Lunar New Year festival in the Central Plaza as well. Choose any of the restaurants located near the plaza for an amazing lunch.
