This program focuses on the unique environment presented by operating in and around vehicles in defensive situations. Topics covered include cover/concealment considerations, working angles, ballistic effects of materials, shooting from unconventional positions. The instructor and his colleagues have a diverse experience base in law enforcement, self-defence, executive protection, use of force training, firearms competition, tactical and military operations. Bring a notebook for this one, there will be a substantial amount of knowledge exchanged. Prerequisite training must include BBAR’s Level 1 Carbine Course or recognized equivalent training. This program is taught at BBAR’s ECHO OUTDOOR RANGE in Woking, Alberta, by Earl Green from PHASELINE GREEN TACTICAL. Range directions will be sent after course confirmation. Course time is 0800-1700, participants must be prepped and ready on the line by 0800. Participants should allow an hour of travel from Grande Prairie to location. Required kit: • ELECTRONIC hearing protection • Eye protection • Non-restricted carbine rifle • Single or double point rifle sling • 3 magazines minimum • 500rds of ammunition • Body armor is encouraged but not required • Hydration and snacks *Range fees are included in course fee Please note that location of range will be sent to all enrolled students via email. All Memberships & Courses are non-refundable. Courses are transferable, provided spot can be filled prior to the course. If initial spot cannot be filled, then tuition for the course will not be refunded. If BBAR chooses to cancel the program a full refund will be issued to any enrolled participants.
