Serve a Scoop - Camp Leader- Samantha Heath - July 15-19 - 9 am - 2 pm - Rising 4th, 5th, & 6th Graders - $310 (lunch included) -Stretch your creative and culinary skills by making delicious ice cream -Learn the science behind making ice cream, exercise innovation as you imagine new and unique flavors, and create a yummy treat that will also serve the community -Ice Cream Innovation offers a fun and tasty form of community engagement as the ice cream we make will be served at The Shalom Project’s Big Chill fundraiser on Saturday, July 20 and will raise money to serve Winston-Salem’s vulnerable neighbors -No previous ice cream or culinary knowledge is necessary! -We will make one trip off campus to sample ice cream at local shops to inspire our flavors and to visit The Shalom Project’s site and learn about their work -All parents and campers are invited to attend The Big Chill at Bailey Park on Saturday, July 20 to witness their ice cream in action
