Want to design lights for a production? Need to work on some Music Theatre dance skills? Want to discover the tools to direct or design as show? Participants will engage in a variety of exciting workshops to introduce you to the professional world of theatre. When you register, you’ll have the opportunity to vote for the workshops that are most interesting to you, and Ms. Shelden will take it from there! If most students vote for lighting, she’ll include a lighting workshop and design lights for the Broadway Melody 3rd - 8th grade camp showcase! If students want a music theatre dance workshop, she’ll teach a famous dance combo from a musical! Multiple workshops will be held during the four-day experience. Possible workshops include lighting, directing, music theatre dance, costume design, set design, improvisation, stage combat, and percussion!
