Description
Enjoy the wonders of the forest preserves and get some some healthy exercise on a guided, quick-paced 3-to-5-mile hike. Ages 18 and up. $5 per person. To register by phone instead, call 630-933-7248.
Hike Information
The Forest Hikes are hikes no more than 5 miles that are designed for adults who want to get outside and hike the forest preserves with a guide. Go on one or go on them all! This hike allows hikers to socialize while enjoying the sights and sounds of the DuPage Forest Preserves.
You should be able to walk at a good comfortable pace, and walking sticks are encouraged. The hike can be on a variety of surfaces, some hilly, from limestone trails to grass, dirt or mud. Be prepared to walk up and down hills. Dress for the weather, and bring water.
