About this event
Don't know how to use that brand new digital camera or have had one for years and still wonder what ‘A’, ’S’, ‘Tv’, ‘M’, ‘Av’, etc means? This class is for you. You will learn the basics of the DSLR camera and what some of those confusing menu items mean. Don’t have a DSLR camera? That’s OK! There will be a couple you can use during class time. Topics include photography basics using the essential Exposure Triangle, light theory, when to use the various camera settings and more. You will get practical experience by taking photos during class and be invited to practice that experience with the spring shows. You will also set up a small portrait studio and learn how to take headshots. Parents of students and other Stage Kids parents are ENCOURAGED to register as well! Instructor: Skip Mugaas
