Photographing Realistic ScenesSESSION 04 PM
12:30pm - 3:00pm
American Modern Art
Create photographs of subjects that spark joy and reflect you reality. Learn how to use the settings on your camera to make images that are focused and well exposed.
Important topics for this week include: composition, depth of field, and point of view.
Students meet in the studio every day to learn a new topic, then go outside to create photographs and apply what was taught. This
hands-on experience enhances the lesson being taught, along with image review and critiques. Regular feedback is offered to students as they are photographing.
Bring your own DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) or compact camera. Phone cameras do not have the functionality for this class.
** EVERY CLASS - students need to bring:1-- a camera2--have a fully charged camera battery3--have a memory card with plenty of space to shoot freely4--dress for the weather since you will be outside every day5--bring a water bottle
This class is one week, runs Monday-Friday, and lasts 2.5 hours.
