Twindly will be hosting a series of six different summer camps throughout June and July. Each camp will start on a Tuesday at 10AM. Students will attend a variety of themed activities, hosted at Twindly Bridge, for the first two days of each camp. The day is expected to wrap up at 2PM but that may be adjusted depending on the number of students signed up. Don’t worry, we will include time for a mid-day break so students can eat their sack lunch and play outside! Each camp is $50 and includes access to the field trip. This cost can be covered via allotment deduction or self-pay. There is no maximum number of registrations per camp Summer Camp 1 (June 4, 5, 6) - Walk on the Wild Side*: All About Alaska Animals! Field Trip to Musk Ox Farm Summer Camp 2 (June 11, 12, 13) - Something Fishy is Going On*: All About Alaska Fish! Field Trip to Anchorage Hatchery Summer Camp 3 (June 18, 19, 20) - Unleash Your Inner Explorer*: Discovering Nature! Field Trip to Thunderbird Falls Summer Camp 4 (June 25, 26, 27) - We've Struck Gold*: Settlers of Alaska! Field Trip to Independence Mine Summer Camp 5 (July 9, 10, 11) - Joyful Gardening*: All Things Gardening! Field Trip to a Greenhouse and Orchard Summer Camp 6 (July 16, 17, 18) - Planes, Trains, and Automobiles*: All Things Transportation! Field Trip to the Transportation Museum * Please note that these themes are tentative based on registration numbers and field trip availability. -Registration closes next week, Tuesday, May 7th at midnight.- For students/families interested in attending the field trip but NOT the camp days prior, available slots will be opened for sign up once that determination has been made. Cost for the field trip will be event specific. Some field trips may have parking fees; this would not be covered in the cost of the camp or event and would need to be paid directly to the venue’s parking authority.
