Description
Moorten Gardens, a privately-owned arboretum was created to share the beauty and extraordinary varieties of desert plants with everyone who visits. The featured desert trees, plants and cacti come from around the world and range in size from miniature to giants! This place has something for everyone with glistening crystals, colorful rocks, ancient fossils and old pioneer gold mining relics. After our visit there we'll head up the hill via the Palm Springs Tramway through the beautiful cliffs of Chino Canyon from the Valley Station. At the top (8,516 ft.) you'll enjoy breathtaking views, a gift shop, nature exhibits the Mt. Jacinto State Park Wilderness and lunch at Pine's Cafe. Lunch is included.
