Instructors: Wks. 4&5: Claire Pusatere & Emma Loy-Santelli Grades: 6+ Archery: Learn the basic shooting techniques when using professional recurved bows. These are the same bows used in national shooting competitions and the Olympics. Practice calculating scores and improving from one week to the next. Candy shoots and our last day shooting competition keep students engaged as they become lifelong participants of the sport. Advanced Archery: This class will run concurrently with our Archery class during Weeks 4 & 5. It is for students who have taken Archery at the Workshop and desire to improve their accuracy, skill and effectiveness in shooting. Special attention will be given to sighting a bow and the use of alternate targets for practice. Individual shooting tournament will occur at the conclusion of the advanced class. Note: Recurve bows will be used for both Archery courses.
