Study the art of technical theater with the hands-on study of scenic painting, set design, lighting design. Each term has a specialized focus. 11-adults Scenic design: w/Greg Schilling Learn painting techniques for the backdrops of sets. Talk about color, shape, and lines. Practice these skills on the holiday show set and on canvases at the theater. 9/11,9/18,9/25,10/2,10/9,10/16,10/23,10/30,11/6,11/13,12/4 Set Design: Taron Learn how to successfully use a variety of power tools, design a set for a musical, drafting techniques and build a mini flat. All in three months. 1/8,1/15,1/22,1/29,2/8,2/12,2/19,2/26,3/4,3/11 Lighting Design: Ian Anderson-Priddy Learn to use lighting to reflect the atmosphere for a theater production. Your teacher will go over the basics of lighting instruments, electrical wiring to engineer lighting rigs, and lighting software to run cues.
