Adult Outrigger Canoe (OC1) - Intermediate (3 Sessions) DATES & TIMES: Fridays on April 12, 19, May 3 from 5:30p - 7:30p Coaches: Will Rainey & Jim Underwood! This course runs once a week for 3 weeks WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: ★ Building on current fundamentals ★ Balance and coordination - the ability to transfer weight onto the blade ★ Solid technical focus and framework ★ Small class size (1/4 coach-to-participant ratio) - lots of individual time to learn with an experienced coach PRE-REQUISITES: ★ Must have completed the OC-1 Foundations Course or have similar experience. ★ Must be able to complete a 5K Time Trial in or under appx 32 min, and/or race experience (in OC1/OC6/DB) ★ Can do a successful Huli (capsize) recovery. ★ Non-members must prove they can successfully do one (Written by the orienteer or verbal) The Program Coordinator will reach out to all participants prior to the beginning of the course requesting the pre-requisite information be met.
