Classic Wheel (ceramics/pottery/clay) Ages 18 & Up
Pre-Requisite: None

Have you always wanted to throw clay on the wheel? Or do you want to improve your existing skill? This in an all-level course in which we will adapt teaching to the student's experience level. Those who wish to work independently may. Beginners will learn to wedge, center and lift the clay wall to create cylinders, mugs, vases and bowls. Experienced throwers will be supported in learning new techniques such as lids, spouts, chattering and altering their thrown work, as well as improving existing skills. Additional costs on the first day of class, payable to the instructor. Clay-$25, Materials fee-$10. Student supplies own tools.
