Classic Hand Built Clay (ceramics/pottery) Ages 18 & Up
Pre-Requisite: None
Instructor: Rebecca Pincus, Leila Lindeman, and Laurie Dunham
Have a little clay experience? Or a lot? Or none at all? This class is for you! This is an all-level course in which we will adapt instruction to the student's experience level. Those who wish to work independently may. Projects will be presented as well. We will learn basic hand building techniques to make bowls, cups, boxes and more. We will expand skills with carving our clay, darting forms, making handles, lids an d spouts. We have lots of fun textures to play with! Glazing will be taught. Additional costs on the first day of class payable to the instructors. Clay-$25, Materials fee-$10. Student supplies own tools.
