Description
Phenology is nature’s calendar – the timing of annual life-cycle events that are influenced by climate and weather, like blooming, migration, and nesting. Join us for a stroll along the Santa Cruz River as we gather data on seasonal changes in native plants to learn more about phenology, its importance, and how you can help contribute to our understanding of the natural world.Group meets in front of Wheeler Taft Abbett Sr Branch Library, 7800 N. Schisler Drive
From westbound I-10 take exit 248 - Ina Road. Head west on Ina Rd. Turn right at the stoplight at Silverbell Rd. Turn right on Schisler Rd. The library is on the right. We will meet in front of the main entrance.
From eastbound I-10 take exit 246 - Cortaro Road. Head west on Cortaro Rd. Turn left at the stoplight at Silverbell Rd. Turn left on Schisler Drive. The library is on the right. We will meet at the front entrance. Please carry water wear sturdy walking shoes.
