Picture Framing & Art Presentation (Ages 18 & Up)
Instructor: Larry Wollam, Certified Picture Framer (CPF)
This class will offer detailed instruction in frame cutting and manufacturing, archival preservation, and all types of mat cutting for works of art under glass to include various types of hinges. The first class (important) will cover all tools and materials. The instructor will have several mat cutters for use in the class, but you may have, or may wish to purchase your own. A number of blank mats will be furnished for practice. Intense, but fun! Class is limited to 8 participants. Instructor will go into some advanced framing techniques to include shadow boxes, sink-mounts, textile stretching and float mounts.
