Registration deadline is Thursday, April 4th, 2024
You must be currently employed by Pima County to take this Pima County Lifeguard review class.
American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Classes will be offered by certified ARC Lifeguard Instructors. There is a pre-requisite swim of at least 300 yards continuously (using breaststroke and freestyle), treading water for 2 minutes without the use of arms, and a 10 pound brick retrieval so please be prepared. Class sizes are limited and are filled on a first-come basis with a minimum of 5 participants required to run the class. In the event that the pool is closed due to weather or any other unforseeable circumstance, the class may need to be extended to meet all objectives at the discretion of the lead lifeguard instructor. Both class days are mandatory.
April 6th: 9am to 2pm at the NRPR office at 3500 W. River Rd.
April 7th: 12pm to 5pm at the Thad Terry Aquatic Center located at the NWYMCA, 7770 N. Shannon Rd.

MUST BRING POCKET MASK & FANNY PACK ON BOTH DAYS.
CLASS ON SATURDAY APRIL 6th WILL BE HELD AT THE NRPR OFFICES AT 3500 W. RIVER RD.
