CASMA's public speaking program will focus on developing the student's confidence in public speaking, through integrating day to day conversation topics into a basic speech style. Persuasive speeches, impromptu speeches, and readings will be taught in class as well, each category requiring a different ability: organization, quick-thinking and expressiveness. Students that are ready to learn Debate will learn and practice British Parliamentary style debate. Students will be separated by skill and by age when possible for activities as a group or with a partner.
