About this event

Two experts, one hike - once a month only! $30, RSVP Required! Yampatika's expert Geologist will explore the glacial valley through the lens of Yampa Valley's exceptionally rich geologic past as the group hikes out to the historical sites. Along the way, Tread of Pioneers Museum staff will share Mad Creek Road and area history. Midway through the hike museum staff will shed light on the iconic Mad Creek Barn and its restoration while the group has a chance to eat and take in the incredible views! Thank you our partner Tread of Pioneers Museum! And although they can't make it this year, thank you Historic Routt County!
