One of our most popular options! We'll use our decades of knowledge to help you find the perfect adventure for your group- all ages are welcome, and no snowshoe experience is need. Our Naturalists are experts at winter ecology, animal tracking, plant ID, and engaging youth & adults. A private tour with Yampatika will open your eyes to the natural world around you! We also size, put on, and teach basic snowshoe skills to people of all ages; you’ll be in great hands. A Yampatika staff member will follow up with a consultation phone call to discuss your transportation options (we do not provide transportation) and your group such as ages and interests. Together, we can determine the perfect adventure tailored to you! Snowshoe rentals are included in the cost and will be brought to the trailhead by your Naturalist. We have snowshoes for kids through adults. Destinations we are permitted for, but limited to, Rabbit Ears Pass, Emerald Mountain/Howelsen Hill, Fish Creek Falls, municipal trails in town, Historic Legacy Ranch, Steamboat Ski Touring Center, and much more! Steamboat Ski Resort Tours are limited to Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays Cost Breakdown: Group size maximum: 12 people (exceptions can be made, but only on our private property). Rate: $50 per person per hour The private tour minimum is $200.00 before travel costs Travel costs will be determined once the tour location is decided. In-town tours do not have an extra charge. The average group finds 2 hours to be plenty of time outdoors, if a more adventurous area is selected, we may need to adjust the duration of the tour. We can certainly do shorter tours as well.
