We invite you to participate in this enrichment course, where you will engage with the Japanese language and culture. In this two-week, project-based course, students will explore Japanese language learning around themes such as greetings, introductions, emotions, and food. Students will learn about Japanese culture and geography to plan a trip and discuss Japan's traditions and values. AP Japanese Language and Culture standards around communication and cultural awareness guide the framework of this enrichment course. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in our Japanese Exchange Club, where we build connections with our partner school in Japan and those who may want to participate in our travel program, which occurs every two years. We welcome learners of all abilities in Grades 9-12.
