Description
Willamette National Forest. Start this hike with a short walk to view the spectacular 286-foot Salt Creek Falls, just off Highway 58 on the way to Willamette Pass. Then continue over a bridge, past Too Much Bear Lake, and to Lower Diamond Creek Falls, a fan-shaped, 100-foot cascade. The final stop will be at Dairy Queen in Oakridge. A 3.5-mile hike with 400 feet elevation gain. Transportation and a bottle of water are provided. Participants should be able to maintain a 20-30 minute per mile pace.
Pre-registration is required. Transportation will be provided. Meet at the Bob Keefer Center lobby, 250 S32nd St.
Wear sturdy shoes and bring additional water and lunch/snack. Hiking Poles Optional
