Description
McKenzie River. Stroll around the cold, blue waters of Clear Lake, the source of the McKenzie River. Walk past the Great Springs, cross a footbridge, stop at a rustic lodge, eat under a Civilian Conservation Corps picnic shelter, and view the Three Sisters mountains. A 5.5- mile hike with 200 feet elevation gain. Transportation and a bottle of water are provided. Hike participants should be able to maintain a 20-30 minute per mile pace.
Pre-registration is required. Transportation will be provided. Meet at the Bob Keefer Center lobby, 250 S32nd St.
Wear sturdy shoes and bring additional water and lunch/snack. Hiking Poles Optional
