Description
Discover the art of soap making in this class. Learn about the chemistry of saponification, the properties of various base oils and where to find them locally, and how to use fragrance oils and other additives. Get hands-on experience as you make a batch of soap from scratch and learn how to make liquid soap and two forms of laundry soap. At the end of the class, take home a share of the soap produced. Bring a clean wide-mouth pint jar with a lid or $1 to purchase one from the instructor.
