AKC Rally obedience is a fun sport where you and your dog navigate an obstacle course of 10-20 signs which include a variety of obedience exercises, turns, and other interesting exercises. You may do this for a fun activity with your dog or compete with you dog in American Kennel Club (AKC) trials. Rally is a sport that builds teamwork between you and your dog and enhances obedience skills for at home and in public. There are various levels in rally obedience and beginning levels work on leash. Solid basic obedience skills are required. Prerequisite: Basic obedience class.
Handlers under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
