The JazzED Summer Jazz Foundations Camp is back this year! Learn to play an instrument in one week! Pick your instrument, begin reading music and learn to play songs in a beginning band. Come have fun with us and explore your musical instrument interest! ELIGIBILITY No prior experience required. Open to students entering 4th through 8th grade in the fall LOCATION South Shore K-8 4800 S Henderson St Seattle, WA 98118 SLIDING SCALE TUITION We are committed to this program being financially accessible for ALL families. You select the tuition amount that works for you. Your tuition payment helps cover the cost of renting class space and paying our educators a fair wage, as well as classroom supplies, sheet music, etc. -$600 (Full Price) -$450 (25% off) -$300 (50% off) -$150 (75% off) -FREE (Full Tuition Waiver) Be sure to select the payment plan option if you would like to break your payments up. Please note you will also have the option of paying your chosen amount in full if you prefer. If you'd like to pay a DIFFERENT sliding scale amount than the options listed here, please email programs@seattlejazzed.org, and we'll send you a custom tuition code. **REQUIRED EVENT BEFORE CAMP (details)** MEET YOUR INSTRUMENT DAY - when you pick your instrument! DATE/TIME: Sunday, May 19, 11:00am - 1:00pm LOCATION: Seattle JazzED, 380 Boren Ave N, Seattle WA 98109 Our Foundations class teachers will introduce and demonstrate all of the available instruments. Families attending our Meet Your Instrument Day will have priority when instrument assignments are made. A link to select instrument choice will be provided via email after the event. Students will be notified of their instrument assignment in July and will receive their instrument. QUESTIONS?
