Instructor: Marcus Pimpleton, Director of Around the Sound Community BandObjectives: The objective of this course is to provide open discussion and experience in regards to choosing literature for concert bands and the techniques and skills in running or participating in rehearsals.
The course Concert Band Literature & Technique relates to the NBPTS Five Core Propositions of the Clock Hour Standards.

Description: Members of this class will rehearse and perform with the Around the Sound Concert Band. Participants will take part in discussions regarding repertoire for the group and will have the opportunity to select and conduct a piece for rehearsal and performance. Participants will earn 18 clock hours. Tuition covers the cost of class registration and clock hours.
Participants must have already completed their registration for the concurrent Term of Around the Sound before registering for Clock Hours.
