In this highly energetic camp, campers will learn to train like high school cross country runners. Taught by Prep Cross Country coaches and athletes, campers will receive instruction covering running mechanics, proper warmups, and nutrition while traveling to some of the hottest running spots in Seattle. Campers will jog the Burke Gilman, run to the famous UW fountain, explore the Arboretum, take part in relay races on the Montlake track, run around Green Lake and finish the week with fun mile race on an actual High School cross country course at Magnuson Park. Participants will also conduct strength exercises in Prep’s new mezzanine overlooking Lake Washington, tour the campus and come away with a newfound love of running!
