About this event
Experience the absolute thrill and joy of catching a wave during our Women's Bodyboard Day Camp. This is a unique camp opportunity and is not offered elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest. It’s for women of all ages, 13 to 70 years young. Join us to experience connection, empowerment and transformation by riding waves on a bodyboard! During the on-beach bodyboard lesson, you’ll be taught the essential bodyboard skills with the layers of understanding to prepare you on land, before entering the water to catch waves with them. Then we'll suit up and head out into the waves with your bodyboard coaches for the day’s first water session. Empowered with your new bodyboard skills on land, now it’s time to kick out for your first wave and “drop in”. Hours of wave riding action, beach yoga and stretch, catered organic lunch, all wetsuit and bodyboard equipment, equipment transportation, choice of NWWSC tee or tank, partners goodie bag and wonderful women connection. Meet new bodyboarding sisters! Tide, wind and swell surf science is shared by NWWSC experienced bodyboard women coaches. This year's event has only 8 spots open, so book early to assure your $25 savings and space in this unique NW wave experience.
