This 40-hour course meets the POST requirements of PC 832 Arrest. Subject matter includes Criminal Law, Laws of Arrest, Search & Seizure, Use of Force, and Arrest and Control Techniques. Training includes classroom lecture and activities, as well as manipulative skills for Arrest and Control. Training will be eight (8) hours per day for five (5) days, and attendance is mandatory.

NOTE: A Medical Clearance is now required for this course. The clearance form will be e-mailed following registration, or download the form at PC 832 Courses – Palomar College Police Academy. You may not begin the course without the completed medical clearance form.
