fee for this cohort: $20 Session 1 -Cooking through the Holidays Students will spend the week learning to make many dishes! Our dishes will correspond to different holidays. By the end of the class, we will make at least one breakfast, lunch/dinner, dessert, and even a drink so that you can impress your friends and family at events all year long. Students will take home an apron and a cookbook with the recipes we made in addition to more to try at home! Session 2 - The Science of Animal Tracks Have you ever seen the footprints and wondered what kind of animal made them? In this class we will explore animal tracks by learning to identify, measure and classify them. What can we learn about an animal by it’s footprint. Students will create their own animal tracks as part of the class and read and write about animal tracks with a focus on informational text.
