Instructor Bio:
Coach Veronika is from San Diego, CA and has been an athlete all her life. After graduating high school, she attended Queens University of Charlotte and competed on both the NCAA triathlon and swim teams while earning her Bachelor's in International Studies. She received the opportunity to be a part of the national team that acquired its 5th national championship in triathlon as well as a part of the swim team, who also had 5 NCAA DII titles to their name. After graduating early, she decided to pursue a Master's in International Development and Economics at the University of San Francisco and compete on the DI NCAA Triathlon team while continuing to swim competitively during breaks from school.
During summers and throughout a gap year after graduating from Queens, Veronika returned to her club swim team to help coach the team's youngest swimmers. She is passionate about developing swimmers with a priority of having fun and encouraging companionship between teammates. She credits her success and longevity in sports to coaches who placed a strong emphasis on balance and teammates who showed her sports were about much more than the competition. She is excited to offer stroke technique lessons to anyone who is interested in improving their swimming.
