This is a ceramics program for older adult 55 years and up. This program consists of pouring clay slip into molds, preparing those green-ware pieces for firing, then painting and glazing those ceramic pieces for participants keepsake.
Students provide materials.
The materials needed: is one gallon of casting slip clay (liquid clay), one small jar of Duncan glaze, one clean up tool for greenware and one sponge for cleaning. All of these items can be purchased from Freeform Ceramics Store (1912 Cleveland Avenue National City, CA 91950).
