The Oxford 5K Wellness Soiree takes place on a scenic flat course in late spring. This inaugural Fun Run/Walk starts at Fall Hole Drive/Oxford Road, meandering southeast along the course to Route 1, where runners will turn and retrace the course towards the start/finish line to receive their finisher medal. This historic course sits among 5 sites on the Virginia Civil War Trails tour in Caroline County, all associated with Grant’s Overland Campaign and the Battle of North Anna River. Create new traditions, ignite your passion for wellness & experience the ultimate fusion of fitness, Jazz, & Neo Soul at our Oxford 5K Wellness Soiree! Under the guidance of Energy Angel instructors, embark on a transformative run and workout experience, followed by a celebratory light brunch on the lawn where you’ll relax and revel in the melodious tunes & complete live band performance of Neika Simone & Friends. There is a 250-participant limit, so register early to ensure a spot at this one-of-a-kind soiree!
Event details and schedule
Runners and walkers are welcome. No pets, bikes, or skates are allowed on the course. (This doesn't include service animals)
5K starts promptly at 7 a.m. Plan to arrive between 6:30 and 6:45. You will be directed to on-site parking.
Please wear comfortable clothing & shoes. Late spring temperatures may be very warm. Please dress accordingly.
Feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chair for the post-race soiree.
