Glass Workshop - Mosaic Pot at the Portland Community Center.Taught by Dolores Gonzalez-Jarvis, owner of Mujeres Gonzalez Art.
In this class you may bring your own recycled broken dinner plates if you choose.
Immense yourself in the ancient ar of mosaics and embark on a journey of creativity as you craft a vibrant home for one of your beloved plant buddies. You will learn how to plan, arrange and complete the project. We will cover different types of cutting tools available and how to use them, the differences in adhesives and how to apply them, and basic sealing techniques.
Materials provided are broken tile and broken dinner plates as well as the pot, adhesive and sealant. You will complete one 5.5" terra cotta pot to take home.
