Join Us for the 2nd Annual Portland Pickleball Open! The Portland Pickleball Open is coming to courts at Sellwood Park this Summer as part of the Kelly Johnson Foundation tournament series! The original Johnson Summer Classic Tennis Tournament was hosted in Madison, WI in 2014 and the event series is bring back our Pickleball events for 2024 across the US. The Kelly Johnson Foundation has raised over $15,000 the past 11 years for high school scholarships and extracurricular support in the US. We hope to make the Portland Pickleball Open a key component into providing scholarships in Oregon! Format of Play: Our goal is to give all players the maximum amount of games. Format may vary between divisions based on entry (round robin or single-elimination draw). USA Pickleball Rules will apply. Men's Singles & Doubles start times will begin as early as 9am and go until 3pm on Saturday. Women's Doubles start times will begin as early as 9am and go until 3pm on Saturday. Mixed Doubles start times will begin as early as 12pm and go until 6pm on Saturday. Juniors Singles start times will begin as early as 9am and go until 3pm on Saturday. Please check Tournament Site (www.kjfwi.org) for Match Times. Max 1 Entry Per Player. Due to a One-Day Event, we cannot have players compete in multiple divisions. If you register for two events, you will NOT be refunded. EARLY PICKLE PRICING (Register Before June 1st) $40 per team. ($20 per player) AFTER JUNE 1ST PRICING: $50 per team! ($25 per player) Draws will be posted: Thursday, July 25th EACH DOUBLES PLAYER MUST REGISTER ON ACTIVE.COM After registering on Active.com, no refund policy. All sales are final. Unfortunately, we do not provide registration refunds by Active.com if availability has changed.
