SYNOPSIS Henry IV is dead and Hal is King. With England in a state of unrest, he must leave his rebellious youth behind, striving to gain the respect of his nobility and people. Laying claim to parts of France and following an insult from the French Dauphin, Henry gathers his troops and prepares for a war that he hopes will unite his country. After winning battles against the odds, he woos and marries the Princess of France, linking the two nations and heralding a time of peace! AUDITIONS Material: Please MEMORIZE a one minute monologue of your choice from the show and post it on the Classroom Audition Assignment. Full Audition Packets will be posted on your Google Classroom. Students should be ready to perform sides at the audition. Headshot, resume, audition form and video will be submitted on your Google Classroom. Dates: Memorized auditions monologue video submission due by midnight on Saturday, May 25th. Early videos are encouraged. Callbacks will be held Saturday, June 1st from 10 AM - 1:30 PM. REHEARSALS Rehearsals will be every Monday-Friday at 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM from June 10th-June 21st. All students are required to attend each day. Friday, June 21st, dinner break is TBA. *Week 2 of rehearsals may call for additional time. Will be determined by your director* SET BUILD SUNDAY, June 16th 4PM-7PM All students and one parent per actor are required to attend. PERFORMANCES FRIDAY: June 21st @ 7pm SATURDAY: June 22nd @ 2pm & 7pm SUNDAY: June 23rd @ 3pm (Love Notes @ 12:30p) | Strike to follow ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Costumes are provided by Genesis. Supplemental items & shoes from your wardrobe. Students are required to be present at all rehearsals and shows. Please do not schedule any appointments or events for your student during this rehearsal period. Please send a snack, a personal water bottle, and pencil each day to rehearsal. Please help your student to memorize their lines at home. Tickets will be available for purchase online, so buy early!
