Description
This class explores evidence-based and evidence-informed strategies for communication with a loved one who is diagnosed with cognitive impairment. We will review the process of communication and how it is impacted by a Dementia diagnosis, as well as learn strategies for effective communication skills, and dementia specific understanding about the language and life experience from the Dementia perspective.
