You Go Girls is a once-a-week club that supports sisterhood and self-esteem in the context of running. Under the direction of Meg Waldron, this dynamic group of young women will set and reach goals they never imagined possible! Waldron, an All-American runner with over 25 years of coaching experience, has mentored and inspired more than 100 girls since the program’s creation over six years ago. In addition to running and various running games, club participants also will build self-confidence, deepen friendships, and develop body satisfaction. When the weather isn't suitable for running, YGGirls will practice yoga and mindfulness techniques, learn about accomplished female athletes, and make (and eat) healthy snacks! It is recommended that participants have proper running shoes and layers for autumn’s crisp and blustery weather.
