Description
Join us for an engaging and practical seminar designed specifically for active older adults. Learn essential situational awareness skills and self-defense tactics using everyday, accessible items you already carry — such as a cell phone, pen, or assisted walking device. Instructor: Charlie Poynter, a retired ER nurse, YMCA martial arts self-defense instructor, and former tactical medic with the Platte County SWAT team, will share valuable tips to help you stay mindful of your surroundings and respond effectively in unexpected situations.Register at the Welcome Center.
