Shrubs provide habitat and food for wildlife as well as a staggering number of ecological benefits from nitrogen fixation to shoreline protection. This four-hour course will take us into the Macphail Woods Arboretum to get to know many of the native shrubs that grow across the province and how to use them in restoration efforts. The course runs from 12:30 pm until 3 pm at the Macphail Woods Nature Centre on the Macphail Homestead in Orwell (269 Macphail Park road).
