Description
Join award-winning artist Rene Westbrook for a dynamic painting workshop on wood and paper! Experience diverse outcomes between these surfaces and master unique art techniques. The class begins with paper exploration, so bring your own supplies, including 12”x12” watercolor paper and primary acrylic paints for a fun and easy artistic journey.
Students will bring their own supplies. Supply List: 2- primed wood pieces 9”x12” or larger6 colors of acrylic paints. A color wheel (optional)Paint palette Water cup for brushes. Apron (optional)Note: Hobby Lobby has primed wood for this use in class. Cheap watercolor paper and Gesso sold there as well.4-6 sheets of watercolor paper 12”x12”. Note: the same material for wood applies here. Please note that the paper must be primed with Gesso before the session starts the second half of the class.
