Description
What better way to celebrate summer than playing summer-themed tunes on ukulele! Learn the chords and strumming patterns by artists like The Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffett, Van Morrison, Seals Crofts and more, as you simultaneously improve your uke skills. Pre-requisite: Yes, You Can Play the Ukulele (or similar intro class) or be self-taught and be able to play at least 7 chords and transition between them. Bring your soprano, concert or tenor uke (no baritone ukes, please) along with a pick and a uke capo to each class. No loaner instruments are available. Pre-requisite: While an intro uke class such as "Yes, You Can Play the Ukulele is suggested, it's not a deal-breaker to take this class. If you have a uke, but haven't done much with it yet, just learn simple chords like C, A minor, F, G, D, D minor, D7 and E minor, those will suffice for you to learn the songs covered.
