Description
This introductory workshop explores the figure as form in space. Rather than delving into the specifics of the body, this workshop will focus on fun ways of using creative techniques like drawing., painting and collage to bring to life the figure in motion. The instructor’s approach hopes to demystify the notion that body is too difficult to explore. The aim will be EXPRESSIONISTIC and creative, the more fearless you are, the better!
Students will bring their own supplies. Supply List: 5-16”x20” canvases 6 colors of acrylic paints A variety of brushes A color wheel (optional)Paint palette Water cup for brushes Apron (optional)Note: we begin our paintings in class, but participants are required to complete them at home and bring them back the following week for review and discussion.
