Description
This class is designed for dogs that have reached an intermediate level of training. Rally is a fun form of Obedience training where dogs and handlers learn to perform many different skills on a course. Rally is divided into levels: AKC Rally has five: Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Excellent, and Master. This class will accommodate those just wanting to try the sport as well as those already involved in competition. In addition to the basics, you will learn some fun tricks and games to keep your dog interested and engaged. Handlers should have dogs on a six-foot leash and a second 20-foot leash is recommended for practicing recalls, no e-collars. Retractable leashes are not permitted. All handlers need to bring dog treats, water and are encouraged to wear proper footwear. Please no flip-flops or sandals. Dogs need to be current on vaccines; please bring proof of vaccines to first class. Classes will be held outdoors, weather permitting.
