This is the NEW program released by the Lifesaving Society in 2023. Aquatic Supervisor certification prepares instructors and lifeguards for front-line supervisory responsibilities in aquatic facilities. The 13-hr. course provides the knowledge, skills and tools required by aquatic team leaders who oversee instructional and recreational programs on a day-to-day basis. Candidates for the new Aquatic Supervisor must hold Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor or Lifesaving Instructor and National Lifeguard certifications. Required candidate references include the new Aquatic Supervisor Workbook, the Guide to Ontario Public Pools Regulation, and Alert: Lifeguarding in Action. Course Dates: Wednesday June 12, 2023 (5:00pm to 9:30pm) Wednesday June 19, 2023 (5:00pm to 9:30pm) Wednesday June 26, 2023 (5:00pm to 9:30pm) Required Resources: - Aquatic Supervisor Workbook (NEW) - Guide to Ontario Public Pools Regulation - ALERT: Lifeguarding in Action (from National Lifeguard course)
