YOU MUST REGISTER IN PERSON FOR THIS CLASS. AARP Safe Driver Courses are for drivers 50 and older. A certificate is awarded upon completion that may entitle a graduate to auto insurance discounts for three years. AARP recommends that students check with their insurance company before attending the class to determine whether they are eligible for a discount and how much the discount will be. Developed by AARP, the courses review basic rules of the road, including accident prevention, car maintenance, and the effects of medication and alcohol on driving. $20 for AARP members / $25 for non-members, cash or check only. Please make checks payable to AARP. To register, submit a completed registration form, driver's license number and payment to MTSC. Registrations cannot be taken by telephone.
